Residual chlorine is a mandatory testing indicator for drinking water and wastewater disinfection processes. Abandoning simple electrode detection, the T9048 adopts the nationally recognized DPD colorimetric method, delivering far higher testing precision than similar basic devices.The instrument automatically collects fixed volumes of water samples, separately doses Reagent A (DPD color developing solution) and Reagent B (buffer solution). Automatic stirring and static color development take place inside the sealed flow cell.
